To set your own combination, please follow these easy steps:
1. Pull up the shackle to open the lock (a).
2. Rotate the shackle 90° counter clockwise and press shackle into the hole. Hold down and continue to turn another 90° counter clockwise.
3. Set your own combination by turning dials.
4. Turn the shackle back as normal (c). Then the setting is completed.
To reset a new combination, please repeat step 1 to 4 above. Please remember your new combination

There is a new rule in my daughters school, that all school bags must be left by the students in the cloakroom.
Soon after this rule was put in action, things started disappearing from Children’s bag.
Once my daughter came back home, “Mummy someone stole my yogurt drink”
Bless, maybe the child was hungry, never mind I replied.
A few days later… “Mummy my compass set has gone missing”
My gloves, my scarf, my diary, my sports bottle…
Oh my God!
Even though the school tried its best in order to stop / avoid the situation, due to this thefts my daughter needed a lock.
But of course she could not have a key one, as she would not have were to store the key and would have probably lost it within the first week, so this lock was a great solution.

Please don’t do like my husband that after half an hour came to me and said… “You set it for her, it doesn’t work”
I mean the instructions are clearly stated at the back, and are extremely easy to follow (My husband has never been one for following instructions)
Set lock to 000
Open the shackle
Turn clockwise
Press down
And while keeping pressed down (part my husband didn’t do)
Turn anti-clockwise
You will feel how the shackle has a different movement at that point
Set your 4 digit numbers
Turn shackle to normal position
Close
Use your new combination to open 😉

***PERSONAL OVERALL OPINION***
I have saved hundreds as now my girls backpack and its contents are safe.
The size is good, not too small so it’s hard to hold etc, and not too exaggerated big.
It has a very good weight and after months of use, it looks as new.
Many other mums from school have actually approached me to ask about the lock and were I bought it from.
Since, many other students have the same locks.
Unfortunate that there is a “light hand” but at least with locks as this, we can put a stop to it.

|Sturdy combination padlock,
I am very pleased with this padlock. It feels really sturdy and robust, so I imagine it will be very durable for years to come. Its a good size for a suitcase without being too big, measuring 6.7×3.0x1.2cms and weighs 70g. The instructions for changing the lock from 0-0-0-0 are on the back of the product pack. By following the diagrams on the back of the pack it is reasonably straightforward to change the combination.
All in all a good sturdy padlock that is perfect for suitcases and lockers, with no fear of losing that precious key. Highly recommend.
