Good fit, sleek and easy to use.,
It doesn’t have the greatest amount of padding and as the laptop itself is a heavy beast I don’t think this would afford it much protection if you dropped it on to the floor.
And if you do want to make a bit of a statement with the sleeve then the very bright blue colour will do that for you. Personally I prefer something a little less bold as I don’t like to advertise the fact that I am carrying a laptop. And of course, being a sleeve there is no place for the power unit to be stored for carrying.
But I think that, in spite of these minor points this is well worth a five star rating.

Great points to share:
^^ I love the bright, royal blue colour.
^^ The external material has a waterproof feel to it. Great for preventing splashes and keeping my laptop clean and dust free. Inside is white and the material feels slightly padded for a soft and protective touch. Brilliant for keeping my laptop scratch free.
^^ As mentioned above, it fits snugly around my laptop just right. I can’t stress this enough, how important it is for me. I have tried other sleeves and quite often there is room inside for the laptop to move around – whereas with this one there is no room for manoeuvre so it is kept in place, safe and secure.
^^ The zip only opens across the top, which for me is the best type because I can get the laptop out knowing it is the right way up!
Odd Points to share:
^^ Nothing really wrong with the case, but I do not understand why this is advertised in Spanish on the UK Amazon website, and that is has the HP logo on the front, which looks like Hewett Packard to me. Odd.
Overall :
I am very happy with this and feel safe in the knowledge that it is protecting my laptop when I carry it around in my rucksack/briefcase. I also find it handy for keeping it in when it is not in use and knocking around the house. I look after my laptop, but there is always a fear someone else may spill a drink or something over it, and with this laptop sleeve covering it I know I will always have the added protection I need. Top marks from me!

Where it would score is in something like a backpack or soft bag; giving protection to a HP laptop against those many little knocks travel gives them. The cover itself is a durable synthetic fabric with the HP logo in the bottom corner, as this comes with an attached manufacturers card indicating it is a genuine HP product. As they make the laptops, it’s a perfect fit for their 15.6 inch screen products.
I am a little concerned at the price point but then again, if you want a tailored suit you pay more for it. Being a manufacturers’ own padded cover means no sliding or stretching to fit so if you weigh this against the cost of repairs or scuffing a cheaper version might allow then it’s a sensible enough buy
