   I asked previous purchasers for advice on how to fill these, and the response was unanimously “I didn’t manage it – don’t waste your money”. But I bought some Modelcraft 5ml syringes (also from Amazon) and found it was quite possible, if a bit messy, to use those to suck cream or lotion from its original tube or bottle and then fill through the nozzle of the tube, tapping the tube a few times during this process to get the contents to the bottom and make room for more. Maybe it would be easier, though a bit more wasteful, to squeeze some of the toothpaste or whatever out into a small jar and then suck it up from there with the syringe. Basically, filling these is a bit of hassle, and I wouldn’t bother for normal travel, but they are ideal when weight or volume of luggage is critical. Pity they are not made with the whole top of the tube to screw off for filling, rather than just having the small central hole for this.

   Good seal when filled with water and squeezed. Left bottle full of water on it’s side overnight and no leak. Very pleased. Just remember to order early.

   Used these for when I make my own cosmetics. They do the job very well although I had to buy a cake icing set to be able to insert the cream into them. I only needed a few of the tubes rather than ten, but probably will eventually use them. Would be better if they sold them in sets of 3 or 4.
