Light, strong well priced Samsonite case.,
I expect it to be as sturdy as the large one I have, which has been to Africa China and New Zealand in the last three years – about 7 demanding long haul trips, some to airports you would think would wreck luggage. The most damage was caused in the US, changing planes; the case came off in NZ with major scratches. Also dented in Dubai but was able to push out the dented corner. Now off on trip where I need 2 cases, so bought the medium one as well, to replace an old 2 wheeled suit carrier which no longer meets my needs. I expect this to be as good.
I like the monotube handle in particular on this model, and they are very light suitcases and easy to manoeuvre. I like Samsonite cases and have got through a good few over the decades of travel, both hard and soft sided. The most expensive one I bought also got the worst damage from baggage handlers; the frame got twisted and gaped open but airline paid up.
This model seems a good buy so far, with no frame to twist. I bought this model because they are so light, as well as strong, and that matters considerably on long trips, with smaller airline baggage allowances. They do get scratched in use but hope no major damage ensues. I just wish Saomsonite included a suit hanging element, which it has done on other models, as it makes such a difference to the way clothes come out at the other end.
